My Gift to Nigeria, My Generation, Africa & the Global Community.

Dearly beloved friends from around the world and my compatriots from Nigeria;
today, I mark another year on this side of the divide and it's been a memorable journey so far and I know by His Grace it can only get better going forward.
I read through all the comments and birthday wishes left on my wall & inbox so far and tears was streaming down my face like a baby!
I'm awed by your outpouring of genuine love and appreciation of the little I'm doing in my corner trying to contribute to what others are doing in Nigeria and all across the globe so that we can all compound our efforts to give birth to the nation we so much desire and long for with a resultant positive impact on Africa and the entire global community.
Once again, I thank you all and greatly appreciate you for believing that we can all work together to make Nigeria work for us all and be a blessing to all Nigerians and the world at large.
I became involved with Nigeria at a very young age and since that time even when it is in my best personal interest to "walk away" from Nigeria & all her challenges, give up on her and "mind my own business"; I find it very difficult to do and everything I do or plan to do is centered around promoting the very best interest of Nigeria and Nigerians (with a resultant multiplier effect on Africa & the Global Community).
Friends and Compatriots; Nigeria & Nigerians (especially our fellow Nigerians who are voiceless, powerless & disadvantaged in the current scheme of things) are calling upon us to get it right this time around as we have another GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY to BIRTH A GREATER, MORE PROSPEROUS, MORE PEACEFUL, MORE RESPONSIVE & SUSTAINABLY DEVELOPED NIGERIAN NATION during the forthcoming election in April 2011.
I call on my President & Commander-in-Chief, Dr. Jonathan Ebele Goodluck GCFR, to please conduct a FREE & FAIR election as this is the only way we can prevent a possible crisis as a fall out of any perceived electoral malpractise meant to favor the ruling party.
If Mr. President wins the election, we will rally round him and support him to do a good job for all Nigerians (his success is our success). However, if he loses, we expect him to hand over gallantly to whoever wins so we can move our nation forward and make up for all the lost time and opportunities.
I will also like to use this medium to appeal to my Elders in the two main Progressive Parties ( Action Congress of Nigeria & Congress for Progressive Change) to please do everything possible (putting the long suffering massess of Nigeria first and foremost in their political considerations/calculations) and make all the neccessary sacrifices even at this late hour to enable the Progressive Camp win at the polls (especially the Presidency, where most of the power in Nigeria is still concentrated), so that we can effect a PROGRESSIVE CHANGE all over the Federal Republic of Nigeria that will lift a vast majority of our fellow Nigerians out of poverty and suffering in the midst of plenty while also making Nigeria work for all and sundry!
I am giving to Nigeria, my beloved country (and one of the key nations in solving the myriads of challenges confronting Africa) on this occasion of my birthday; the gift of a NEW BEGINNING, A NEW FOUNDATION OF NATIONHOOD, & A PROGRESSIVE CHANGE that benefits all Nigerians and which also impacts Africa and the entire global Community possitively!
We can do it and we MUST do it for our common good.
Thanks and may God continue to bless you all and bless Nigeria too.
Sincerely,
