Wisdom from "The Best President Nigeria Never Had":

........In the late '70s when the Poverty Incidence in Nigeria was a "mere" 30%, Chief Obafemi Jeremiah Oyeniyi Awolowo (the erstwhile pacesetting Premier of the then Western Region of Nigeria; the Leader & Presidential Candidate of the Unity Party of Nigeria) said that Nigeria needed a "SHOCK TREATMENT" to drastically curtail and bring down the then "shocking" 30% Poverty Incidence!
Some of the suggestions he put forward then included ELIMINATING all WASTEFUL governmental expenditures and "OWAMBE SPENDINGS"!Unfortunately, now that Nigeria's POVERTY INCIDENCE has risen to an astronomical >70% and life and living in "Naija" has become SHORT & BRUTISH, we have some "Political Operatives & Leaders" who believe/have the mindset that what is needed is UNLIMITED/EXCESSIVE OWAMBE EXPENDITURES/SPENDINGS till the COMMONWEALTH is BANKRUPTED and "Naija" becomes a "FAILED STATE"!

...I wish us all "Goodluck" in our unending "Jolomi" (which is a "front" to launder the people's money into private accounts) all across the Global Village in search of what is not missing!
